Thankfully, all the fruit is under contract, but this year we decided to produce a couple hundred gallons of Rose of Pinot Noir at a high-end custom crush facility to see what the vineyard could do. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eThe results are incredibly promising and I am excited to get this into your hands. The wine is gorgeous, absolutely Angelic, with one of the most beautiful bouquet's you'll experience. It occurred to me that now I know why Chateau D'Esclans originally named their ros\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\"\u003eé\u003c\/span\u003e Whispering Angel: when you get it right, the results are simply Angelic. You'll see what I mean when you try it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eAnd I have more good news: this wine would easily command a $30-$40 price tag in the marketplace but I believe it to be quite reasonably priced at $15\/bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eThe bouquet is beautiful and elegant featuring an angelic tapestry of cotton candy and powdery pink rose petals haloing \u003cem\u003epastille frambois \u003c\/em\u003eand lemon drop candy with subtle hints of grapefruit and cherry as the bouquet complexes. The wine is racy and mouthwatering on entry with pretty raspberry and cherry notes beautifully attenuated over crystalline, lemonhead-crusted acidity. Super zippy, fresh, nuanced and very complex, Lot 43 combines perfectly ripe fruit with brilliant, mouthwatering acidity.
