Power. Precision. Grace. Beauty.
Lot 70 2024 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a stunningly complex and gorgeous wine at a simply incredible price. Mind-blowing, to be frank.
You'll see, this is definitely one of those "just trust me" offers.
Lot 70 is sourced from the highly regarded Brokenrock Vineyard (or Broken Rock depending on the producer) is located on the top of the Atlas Bench at 600-700 feet and just below the Atlas Peak appellation cutoff elevation of 760 feet. The vineyard was developed by legendary vineyard developer Bill Hill and features shallow, rocky soils primarily made up of volcanic and granite-like fractured bedrock yielding small clusters of intense fruit. The folks sourcing from this property run the gamut from famous winemakers such as Philippe Melka, Paul Hobbs and Phillip Titus to small boutiques like Triple Seven Cellars, Prime Solum, and Maria Concetto. Across the board, the uniting sentiment is that the vineyard delivers balance, intensity, and power combined with elegance and voluptuousness.
Lot 70 is all of that and more. Produced from the best blocks in the vineyard and raised up in 60% new French oak, this is another "no expense spared" production by a "winemaker's winemaker". It is a textbook example of the properties potential, meticulously produced, plush-yet-powerful and incredibly complex, seamlessly combining power, precision and grace with the absolute deliciousness of the 2024 vintage!
Normally retailing for north of $150+/bottle, it can now be yours for just $189/case!
We've got just 300 cases to go around folks and, trust me, your gonna want to grab this deal.
The wine pours opaque and glass-staining but not quite squid ink. The aromas are immediate with blackberry and cassis pierced with crushed volcanic red rock underpinned with dark chocolate. The bouquet quickly complexes with blueberry and damson plum mixed with notes of cedar and leather and a pretty red cherry top note. Absolutely stunning. Rich, ripe and powerful on entry with sublime mouthfeel, plush-yet-powerful with perfectly integrated red rock dusted tannins carrying ripe loganberry, plum and cassis notes in a long, sustained finish. Perfectly attenuated throughout, this wine exemplifies power, precision, and grace. Sorry, I just can't say it enough.
