Unpretentious and free of the usual pomp and circumstance of Napa Valley "proper", it lies tucked away on the alluvial drainages coming off of Mt. Veeder with Napa Carneros a stones throw to the south. Farm-focused producers, these folks produce consistently great wines at comparably great prices for Napa Valley.

This is a spectacular Pinot Noir, vibrant and effusive and perfectly delicious at an incredible price!

Gorgeous bouquet of ripe strawberry, truffle and bergamot haloed with a lilac and rose petal perfume laced with savory aromas. The wine becomes more beguiling with each swirl with cherry liqueur, black raspberry, Earl Grey and baking spice notes complexing the show beautifully. Perfectly ripe on entry with a mid-palate that it at once delicious and ethereal with a fantastic underlying chalky structure delivering cherry blossom, raspberry and chocolate/mocha notes in an epic finish of huge, pristine length. Perfectly ripe, vibrant and effusive as well as super-complex, this is an outstanding Pinot Noir at an amazing price!
